This Sauvignon Blanc is very aromatic with cool climate varietal expression. The wine is simultaneously green, tropical, and citrusy ... like a spicy margarita! Green peppers and herbaceousness jump from the glass followed by fresh herbs like mint and sage all leading to a grand finale of gooseberry and melon flavors.

Tasting notes:

The 2020 Cat Canyon Chenin Blanc oozes with mango, toasted almond, and salted honey on the nose. The 24 hrs of skin contact lend the wine a unique textural component that is characteristic of the varietal. The wine is driven by acid and expresses juicy pear and subtle floral notes. Finishes clean, fruity and refreshing.

The 2020 Presqu’ile Gamay is all earth, herbs, and red fruit. The cool climate of Santa Maria combined with 100% whole cluster fermentation encourages the fresh herbal quality with green and black tea, green peppercorn, and spice. Below it expresses bright red cherry and pomegranate, with a core of acidity and well-balanced tannins.

Tasting notes:

The Shokrian Vineyard Chardonnay has a lovely balance of citrus and tropical aromas. White citrus flowers, a saline minerality, grapefruit, pear, and banana notes 
all waft from the glass. On the palate the wine offers generous fruit character and is held together by a core 
of salinity and bright acidity.

Tasting notes:

The Curtis Cabernet Franc has nice varietal aromas of green peppercorn, black currant, and graphite, complimented by a punch of bright blue fruit from the whole cluster carbonic portion. The wine is savory and spicy on the palate with a burst of blue and black fruits, rich tannins, and a lengthy finish.

Tasting notes:

The 2019 Santa Ynez Valley Syrah is dark, pepper-y, and meaty without feeling heavy. Black pepper, savory cured meats, violets, and olive brine all drift from the glass. These flavors carry through to the palate, and are lifted by blackberry notes, and finished with powerful, long-lasting tannins.
