Tasting notes:
Barsotti Vineyard sits at 3000’ feet in the foothills of 
the Sierra Nevada range. The head-trained vines are planted in decomposed pink granite. Truly rare soil 
types for the Foothills, similar to soils found in the Northern part of Beaujolais, and also in the Northern Rhone. So it's no surprise the classic bell pepper nose would transport you to the old world. This incredibly delicate wine is full of flavors of roasted jalapeño, tart raspberry and crushed gravel. This wine expresses so much more than just flavor.  It's a feeling, elegance, beauty, and femininity.
