Tasting notes:
El Camino Alto Vineyard sits at 2900’ feet elevation. 
The own and deep rooted vines are able to provide for themselves during the dry summers. The nearby American River Canyon channels down cool Sierra mountain air each night, providing a cool climate for this inland California location. The rich and deep red volcanic clay soils suit the cabernet franc perfectly. This wine has a gorgeous dark hued ruby color and spicy nose. Red pepper flake heat is complemented by juicy black cherry and black current. Finishes with crunchy dried leaves and clay.
